You will drive right into the circle. Try Columbia's 1905 salad for lunch- They have great Moheta's and sangria pitchers as well - no reservations required. It provides many boat slips for docking while dining in a casual enviroment- perfect for patio dining for lunch or dinner. Moore's Stone Crab- right next to Mar Vista with great dock access is a great restaurant for Stone Crabs when in season- you may want to call for reservations! Located on the north end of Anna Maria is a great beachfront restaurant with live music and indoor-outdoor dining. Enjoy the views directly on the beach and sip on the best Pina Colado's in Florida. There is far more to do here than just dine and sight see. Try out the wonderful bike trails on Longboat Key. Two bicyles come with your vacation. Plus there are many bike rentals in Bradenton Beach if you need additional bikes, or the "Old Fashion Bikes with tall front handrails for the older generations". Here is your bike rental source. Choose from tandum bikes or "recumbants"- great for persons with back problems. They will deliver bikes to YOU! Just tell them to meet you at the public dock just south of Mar Vista Restaurant on Longboat Key. Enjoy dining on the patio at Marina Jacks- who caters to boaters and enjoy the downtown Sarasota Waterfront. Just head south on the ICW into Sarasota (about 10 miles) Go under the Bridge (Ringling Causeway Bridge), Marina Jacks will be on the Left. Look for the Dolphin Fountain Statues. To get to the small vessel dockage- head toward the restaurant. Small vessel transient docks are on the left side of building. NOTE: plan this trip so you will be back before dark!
